While exploring London, i wanted to experiment in double exposures and overlapping images. With this i took similar images in different angles and overlapped them in photoshop.
This image is a great view of the repetitive and business lifestyle people in London go through everyday. It recreates the overpopulated atmosphere when walking through the streets.
I wanted to show a night time version of double exposure, using the bright coloured lights as an advantage to the image. I like how the image has a mixture of bright neon coloured lights and normal outside lights, showing the living night time vibes you can get in London, a mixture of a fun or chilled night.
This project is inspired by Stephanie Jung, who overlapped images of New York. The image that caught most attention to me was her Times square image, so I attempted to recreate it but on Westminster bridge. The interesting side to this image is that you can see the many different cars and people who cross this bridge everyday all in one image. Showing how every different person has a different story to cross that bridge.
For this i chose to overlap a well known attraction in London; The London Eye. I chose to shoot the eye from different angles and sizes to create an abstract view of the monument. I like how the images has many layers and a depth so when looking at it with a different glance it can become a totally different picture.
