My Inspirations
ANNEGIEN SCHILLING
PHOTOGRAPHER
I came across Annegien on Instagram. She is a young photographer which i find hugely inspirational, she wasn't afraid to build up her skills, share them to the world and gain feedback to improve. Her work plays on the imagination of children and adults. She has a fantasy and surreal feel to her work which tackles modern issues in todays society.
JULIEN CHATELIN
Julien is a french-american citizen who explores the world taking photos of the more derelict and secluded parts of the world. What i like about his that he finds the beauty of these places and makes them look like little secret worlds.

I love Brendan's cinematography and what caught me most was his work on the Netflix series 'Riverdale' his use of light and colour to add meaning and atmosphere is so effective. He make Riverdale look almost comic book like but with a slight dark, old vibe to it. Something i also would love my cinematography to come out like.
ANDREW MOHRER

He is a New York City based photographer living in Brooklyn. His goal is to create a cinematic mood you can feel in each and every picture. He has been perfecting his craft for years to create his signature look. What inspires me about him is his use of light and colour in his shots, really capturing the atmosphere of New York, the city which never sleeps.
TIM IVES
PHOTOGRAPHER AND CINEMATOGRAPHER
Widely known for his work on the series on Netflix 'Stranger Things', i love how Tim also uses lighting to build a setting and atmosphere for the entire show. I love how it is set in a 80's abstract type of world. Making it aesthetically pleasing to watch. Along side filming Tim also does photography and what i love about it is how simple and wide the shots are but how stunning they are to look at. Instantly colour is what stands out the most and simplicity.

This is my favourite music video for Kodaline. The video is so well shot and Piers McCgrail really uses his shots to tug on the audiences emotion. Not only is the camera work really cinematic but the colour also compliments the video, adding different tones to the atmosphere.
MIKE DEWEY
FILM MAKER
Mike Dewey in a Youtuber who goes around with his camera and exploring the world. What i like a lot about him is how wide he shoots his footage and how cinematic he makes his videos. It makes it easily pleasing to watch.

Stephanie Jung is a freelance photographer based in Germany. In 2010 she finished her studies in Visual Communications, where she discovered her passion for experimental photography. Her work inspires me to experiment with my own photography.
